Congratulations to Barbara Copeland for winning our “Appetizer Award” with her decadent Valentine Chocolate Brownies. Next month’s entries will have no such chocolate-theme advantage, so may the luck of the Irish be with ALL of our delicious and healthy appetizer selections. Our new “Tip” Jar raised $10! Thanks to all of those who played along for being such good sports.
We also gave a fine Wind Chime gift of enduring THANKS to Linda Butcher for her 17 years of service as our ‘Mazing Madam of Merchandize.
Our program was shown and heard hassle-free by our new modern Video Projector (just purchased by Andy Alongi) & Speaker (bought last year) THANKS to funds from our “Bob Jones Memorial” fund. Our first Fundraiser Game Night at La Casa Schulz raised $80 and much jovial fraternization amongst 21 of our members last Saturday night. Top Winners of Game related prizes, (donated - THANKS to Brenda Pearson), were: Linda Butcher, Lauren Beaudry and Brenda Pearson.
Come early to our meeting this month with smiles and extra food so that we can Welcome any visitors who may come to our (open to all) program about “Road Scholar”, (formerly Elderhostel). Now, don’t just throw away all of your travel (or of general interest) Magazines! Bring them to the next meeting to donate them to our new Fundraising Initiative. Anyone can then give your gently loved magazine a fresh read for just a $1 donation to our Tip Jar!
