Inbound Domestic Exchange 2007DES MOINES & CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWAFebruary 1 - 7Exchange Directors: Mary Jane and John PizzatoOur twenty ambassadors from Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, were greeted shortly after their arrival to a festive welcome dinner at On The Border restaurant. In addition to their escape from the Iowa zero temperatures, they were treated to a week full of activities. The first day featured a
special brunch at the San Diego Zoo, followed by an all day tour of
the Zoo. The week's itinerary included, among other things, a
tour of the Hotel Del, a day in Balboa Park, dinners in member's homes
and finally, a farewell dinner at the Bali Hai restaurant.

Visit the 5 ships - Star of India, Berkeley, Medea, Pilot & the California. USS Midway tour in the afternoon. Tuesday 7/3 SEA WORLD - 9:30 am to 9:00 pm - Fireworks Wednesday 7/4 THE 4TH OF JULY - Free Day Thursday 7/5 Free Morning FAREWELL DINNER - 5 pm at the ELK’S LODGE, El Cajon -Delicious buffet dinner and dancing with live music. Friday 7/6 AMBASSADORS DEPARTURE: bus leaves at 7:00 am
